Apartments, Mansefield Hotel, Elgin
Built in the grounds of the existing Hotel and in the setting of existing Grade B listed buildings
10 serviced luxury apartments were built, conceived in a contemporary take on a traditional coach-house arrangement. The apartments were built using traditional techniques; natural slate roofing, traditional wet dashed render with stone features around window and door openings.
The layout is configured sensitively to look into a newly formed courtyard. This minimises glazing outside of the site to reduce concerns of overlooking to surrounding neighbouring residential properties.
