Chapelton Housing Development, Balloch, Inverness
The first phase of the Chapelton housing development in Balloch, Inverness was completed in June 2025 for The Highland Council and Highland Housing Alliance, with support from the Scottish Government.
The scheme delivers a mix of council rent, mid-market rent, low-cost ownership and wheelchair-adaptable homes, forming the first stage of a 300-home masterplan. Designed to exceed current energy efficiency standards, the development creates a sustainable, well-connected neighbourhood with high-quality streets and open spaces
